PLAYTIME
Playtime is crucial to the mental health of these birds! Every morning during feeding we play and interact, in the afternoon we have "nut party's" on the table inside the cage (see below pic) and in the evenings we play and interact more. Because these birds are housed outdoors they can be as loud as they want and boy do they get loud!!! Also given the amount of space they have they can chose to come play or fly away. Most of these birds had no idea how to fly and had clipped wings when they came to us, given time for the feathers to grow back out we start working with them and about 6 months later one day one just takes off on its own! We really love that!!!!!
